Cheddar and Ham Macaroni Bake

Ingredients:
- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 2 cups cooked ham, diced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
Instructions:
- 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- 2. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- 3. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- 4. Gradually whisk in the milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until smooth.
- 5. Bring the mixture to a simmer, then remove from heat and stir in the cheddar cheese until melted.
- 6. Add the cooked macaroni and ham to the cheese sauce, then pour into the prepared baking dish.
- 7. Sprinkle the breadcrumbs over the top of the macaroni mixture.
- 8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
