  • 1 large yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (divided)

  • ⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups Mexican blend cheese, grated
  • 6 to 8 tortillas

  1. In a ziplock bag, combine the sliced steak, lime juice, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, chili powder, cayenne pepper, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  2. Seal the bag and shake it well to coat the steak pieces with the marinade. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

  7. Serve the spicy steak fajitas on the warm tortillas, topped with grated Mexican blend cheese.
  8. Garnish with your choice of optional toppings such as salsa, guacamole, sour cream, and fresh cilantro.
